Job Summary:

Day hours with flexible schedules. Assist our clients to live at home with dignity and respect. Be on-time and reliable, assit with light house keeping, med reminders and personal care as needed.

Home Health Aid responsibilities include:

Essential job duties for this position include the following items. Other duties may be performed as assigned or required

Assist the client with meal preperation. Some good basic home cooking goes a long way.
Assist the client with light housekeeping. Maintain a clean and safe personal space for the client.
Assist client with dressing and grooming as needed
Assist client with personal care as needed. We will train caregivers for specific clients needs.
Assist client with medication reminders
Be pleasent, positive and reliable. The client is depending on you for regular help.
Maintaing good communication with your caregiver support team at our office.
Be a good team member. We depend on each other for great client care.
Upholds, supports, and promotes all company policies and procedures

The ideal candidate will have:

To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the minimum knowledge, skills, and ability required.

High school diploma/general education degree (GED); or one (1) to two (2) years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
A good heart, be compassionate, careing, respectful and want to help people
Must possess and demonstrate excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to read and understand instructions given verbally and in writting
Must have a drivers license and a car for work.
A desire to learn new things and contribute to the success of a great team.
A desire to be achieve and be recognized for your success

Compensation: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour

FirstLight hires Caregivers, Home Health Aides, CNAs, Care Coordinators, Companion Care and Personal Care Assistants who have a genuine desire to enrich the lives of others and help them have their best day, every day. Our professional caregivers provide safety, comfort and companionship for adults who need support. But we do more than make a meal or help with mobility.
